River Valley Health

River Valley Health & Dental is a federally qualified health center that serves over 17,000 Lycoming & Clinton County residents on an annual basis. The Center started out as two hospital departments under the former Susquehanna Health System, now UPMC, and in 2011 became an independent organization that is run by a community Board that consists of at least 51% patients of the Center. 

Since our independence, the organization has seen immense growth from both physical space to services offered. The Center provides primary medical, dental, behavioral health, women's health, chiropractic, walk-in, social services and pharmacy services. In addition, we have a strong care management program, transportation program, and other patient support services to serve the patient as a whole. In addition, the Center is designated as a Level III Patient Centered Medical Home by the NCQA.

It is our mission to extend God's healing by providing inclusive, quality primary medical and dental care to all those who need it. The Center has a highly talented team that is dedicated to serving the residents of our community that are most vulnerable and of greatest need.

Who We Are

River Valley Health and Dental, a non-profit community-based health organization independently governed by a community board of directors serves the residents of the greater river valley community with comprehensive primary care – medical and dental including chiropractic, behavioral health, and reproductive health services. Not only does the Center provide services to the medically underserved to prevent illness and foster wellness, but to everyone in our river valley community, and provides compassionate care to address needs and other factors that may cause sickness, proactively managing chronic conditions for improved and sustainable outcomes and overcoming common barriers to care. This "Center For Care" is located in the Hepburn Plaza (471 Hepburn) in the heart of Williamsport, PA.
