The Lycoming County Camp Cadet program promotes a better understanding between youth (12 & 13 years of age) and law enforcement officials which is being held from 06/18/17-06/23/17. The purpose of the camp provides insight into police training and overall expectations of a police officer. This program is a true-to-life experience, patterned after municipal and state police training. The cadets are challenged by classroom instruction and physical activities. Cadets are taught self-discipline and how to work as a team player. This program is not a recreational camp, nor is it a disciplinary camp for problem youth. The goal is to teach the cadets more about the laws and to gain a better understanding of them, to respect laws and the officers who enforce it. Our Non-Profit Organization relies on donations to make this camp affordable to ALL kids in Lycoming County. Please consider donating to Lycoming County Camp Cadet as it will benefit the youth of our county for years to come.
