New Beginnings Feral Rescue

PO Box 102
Wilburton, PA 17888

We take in homeless (feral and stray) cats from local towns and rural areas in our region to provide shelter, care, socialization, and eventual adoption. Vet care includes spaying (females), neutering (males), vaccinations, parasite eradication, and veterinary care of medical or surgical problems (e.g. wound care, amputations, etc.) We also educate the public about the importance of spaying and neutering, and provide assistance to those interested in learning how to trap-neuter-release (TNR) outside cats. We place vetted cats and kittens into loving homes through adoptions. We rehabilitate sick cats and kittens to adopt. We attempt to domesticate / socialize feral cats into adoptable cats, and if they are not able to be socialized, we place them in safe environments (like farms) once they have received veterinary care and are ready for release.
