The First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania of Pennsylvania (FCFP) brings together people, partners and places to grow local giving and investments, strengthen area organizations and results, and take on the critical issues and efforts needed to build vibrant communities and a thriving north central Pennsylvania region. We guide the philanthropic gifts of donors by investing and administering funds to charitable programs and purposes via grants, scholarships, endowments and more. While our efforts are focused in Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder and Union Counties, we also reach into Bradford, Clinton, Columbia, Potter, Sullivan and Tioga Counties through donors and their geographic area funds and scholarships.
We work as partners with our generous donors, community leaders, volunteer boards and charitable agencies to identify and meet community needs. FCFP recently awarded $4.2 million in grants and scholarships across our service region and welcomed 9 new funds into our organization. As a community foundation, we effect enduring change. Through professional investment management and sound spending policies, we ensure that our donors' endowed gifts grow in perpetuity.
Whether you make a gift to an existing fund, create an endowment, establish a scholarship or make a bequest, FCFP makes giving easy and effective. Our 100 years of grantmaking experience has prepared us to recognize the challenges facing our community and work collaboratively with local nonprofit agencies to find solutions.
