In 1974, Danville Child Development Center (DCDC) began as a small program serving just six children in a church basement. Today, 51 years later, we are Montour County’s first and oldest nonprofit—a thriving, multi-faceted organization serving over 600 children annually with a dedicated staff of 40+ professionals across two facilities.

At DCDC, we provide high-quality early learning programs and comprehensive early intervention services to families across Central Pennsylvania. We are licensed through the Department of Human Services and the Department of Education, with all childcare programs earning Keystone STAR 4 and NAEYC accreditation—exceeding the highest standards in early childhood education.

Our teachers, therapists, and administrators pour their hearts into nurturing each child’s growth, learning, and success—but we can’t do it alone.

🌟 $150 – Little Dreamers ➡ Covers two full days of childcare for a preschooler or toddler, ensuring access to quality learning➡ Provides new books, puzzles, and other learning aids for a classroom
