Good Samaritan Wildlife

We are providing a new resource for Lycoming County and surrounding areas to help with the rescue and rehabilitation of Pennsylvania wildlife. At present time we are capture and transport (C&T) for WIN (Wildlife In Need) as well as the Pennsylvania Game Commission. 

Currently there are no rehabilitation centers in the area and the closest is State College, Centre Wildlife Care. We are currently working on attaining our Rehabilitation license and building enclosures for pre-release of animals during our sub-permitted period. 

Besides providing a safe haven for wildlife in need we will also be working on educating the local and surrounding communities on who to call when there are animals orphaned or in distress due to injuries.

We also hope to start different programs to include the local school districts and Colleges in Lycoming County. These programs would include volunteering from the college students to be able to learn hands on what is required in the care of Pennsylvania wildlife as well as school district in class presentations.
