The only multi-faceted performing arts organization in Tioga County since 1991, Hamilton-Gibson has earned its reputation as a significant community asset. Its mission of “providing opportunities for people of all ages to enrich and empower their lives” is accomplished through wise leadership and diversified programming. Talented and committed community members, as well as sound financial stewardship, enable Hamilton-Gibson to offer ongoing educational programming and thoughtful entertainment that enrich the quality of life within our community.

Our diversified programming consists of bi-annual theatre arts camps for kids, 7 main stage theatrical productions each year offering acting and directing opportunities for community members of all ages, a choir experience for children in grades 5-8, educational workshops covering a variety of topics such as acting, script writing, directing, set design, and improvisation, HG Women's Project that promotes women in theatre arts, and enrichment opportunities outside the area through annual theatre trips to Strafford. In addition, our annual A Christmas Carol during Wellsboro's Dickens of a Christmas has been a beloved community favorite for over 25 years!
