Soft Landing Animal Rescue and Sanctuary Inc

Soft Landing Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, Inc has been rescuing animals for over 12 years. Our rescue began with taking in feral cats, cats with behavioral problems - the ones no one wanted to work with.  Our goal is to provide them with a safe place to live, where they can learn to trust and be socialized. 

We received our 501(c)3 nonprofit status in 2023 and are dedicated to rescuing and caring for a variety of animals:  horses (large and miniature), reptiles (snakes and tortoises), ducks, turkeys, geese, and cats. Our rescued residents have come from all over PA, and various states.  We have opened our doors to rescuing internationally as well.  We have rescued cats from Egypt and Kosovo.  

Our mission: 

* Our sanctuary is the home of over 100 animals.  

* Our priority is to make sure our residents receive the best quality of life through proper care, shelter, and nutrition.  

Raise the Region donations help to provide:

* Essential supplies:  food, litter, hay and straw, produce, minerals, horse bedding, and reptile substrate. 

*Medical care:  vaccines, preventative treatments, veterinary services. 

*Daily needs: shelter maintenance and expansions, water and feed bowls/buckets, enrichment items. 

Goals: 

* This year we are working on building a 12’x14’ addition for our feline residents, and outdoor shelters for our equine residents to ensure a safe, comfortable environment. 

* Every donation helps us to continue our mission for caring and improving the lives of our rescued animals.
