♫ Inspiring a love of great choral music. ♬
Our Music Director, Bill Payn, has been at the helm for the past 30 years. However, the time has come to hand over the baton and wish this illustrious musician a healthy and happy retirement. As we usher in his final season, we are looking forward to some extra special plans to celebrate his years of passionate dedication to the choral arts. We hope you will enjoy the timeline below featuring some of our favorite highlights from his time on the podium. Of course none of this would be possible without your steadfast support. Thank you for considering a donation in Honor of Bill Payn and the accomplishments of the Susquehanna Valley Chorale!

The SVC was founded in 1969 by a small group of musicians who wished to sing, learn and grow together through the performance of superb choral music. The first performance included 40 members. We now consist of over 100 singers from throughout the Susquehanna Valley. In over 55 years, the SVC has been led by several distinguished conductors and emerged as a leading ambassador of the arts. SVC provides rewarding opportunities for our volunteers, vocal soloists and orchestra members. Four major performances of diverse repertoire are presented each concert season, held at a variety of venues throughout the Valley.
We hope you can join us this May for our POPS concert - The Best of 30 Years - Part One!
Be sure to mark your calendar for our 2025-2026 concert season when we present: Gloria and Te Deum, Candlelight Christmas, Verdi Requiem and POPS - Best of 30 Years - Part Two.
