Tioga County Cat Project

The core mission of the Tioga County Cat Project is to improve the lives of the people and cats in Tioga County, Pennsylvania through spay/neuter for pets and strays. This reduces cat overpopulation, helps prevent cats and kittens suffering illness or disease, and allows low-income individuals to access services they need to keep their homes and communities healthy.

Through donations and volunteer work, we are working to humanely control the cat population by providing TNR (trap, neuter/spay, return) and spay/neuter assistance to cat owners. Since 2019, we have fixed over 2,500 cats!!!

Due to increasing needs in our area, we have now started handling rescues, adoptions, and emergency situations - with dogs too! We have saved and homed many dogs from hoarding, abuse, abandonment situations and more. Watch as we, with your help, continue to grow to serve our community!
