Discover, Preserve, and Celebrate Warrior Run Area's History with WHA!

Our Welcome

We welcome you to join the Watsontown Historical Association (WHA) in keeping the rich history of the Warrior Run area alive. The area reaches across three counties: Montour, Northumberland, and Union.  These areas include but are not limited to: Allenwood, Dewart, Exchange, Limestoneville, McEwensville, Turbotville, Washingtonville, Watsontown, Whitehall, and Anthony, Delaware, Gregg, Lewis, and Limestone Townships. Our range also extends to the New Columbia and White Deer areas as we recognize the historic school boundaries.  We are passionate about preserving, protecting, and sharing the stories that make our area unique, ensuring that its heritage remains vibrant for generations to come.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to spark curiosity and enthusiasm for local history while deepening our community’s connection to its roots. Through educational programs, historical research, and community events, we strive to make history engaging, accessible, and meaningful for everyone.

Our Future

Looking ahead, we envision creating a community-based research center and historic museum—a welcoming space where people of all ages can come together to explore, learn, and celebrate the Warrior Run area's  past. By safeguarding our area's treasures and honoring its history, we strengthen our shared sense of identity and inspire a lasting appreciation for our heritage.
