Camp Lavigne experienced many new additions during 2024.  New roofs were installed on the Dining Hall and Wise Lodge; new gravel was added to the access road; other capital improvements were also undertaken.  We have several additional capital projects that require completion resulting in the need of an additional $100,000. Campers who attend our camps not only leave with an extended family, but they also leave with memories they will cherish forever.  After all, we are "The Scouts of Camp Lavigne you hear so much about".  Currently, the Columbia Montour Council proudly serves over 600 youth and nearly 400 adult volunteers annually. We welcome units from all over the country as well as serving our local Scouts, 4-H Councils, Camp Courage and Girl Scouts during the summer.

"On my honor, I will do my best, to do my duty,." These are the first words that are taught to our youth.  Scouting helps you grow in character and encourages them to build strong relationships, social skills, and develop a desire to learn, set personal goals, and enhances self worth and personal values.  Scouting instills confidence and promotes teamwork through a program that creates lifetime memories and forms lasting friendships.
