Family Promise of Lycoming County

Your donation makes a difference.  1 out of 11 children in Pennsylvania experience homelessness in any given year and in Lycoming County that number is closer to 1 out of 9.  Family Promise exists to change the lives of homeless children and their families. 

In addition to preventing homelessness, providing shelter to families, and intensive case management, we also have a free clothing closet, food bank, community garden, library, and are partnering with UPMC's Teaching Kitchen. In addition, our annual Warming the community event provides approximately 1,000 coats each year to the community.

Through your generosity and partnership, we are “breaking the cycle” of homelessness and poverty. Family Promise is successful in assisting 93% of families who graduate our program in not experiencing homelessness again.
