Our mission at the Knoxville Public Library (KPL) is to provide a positive literacy experience that will enhance the academic, technological, recreational and social skills of our community. The KPL is unique among the Potter-Tioga Library System in that it maintains a local history museum that many visitors and schools throughout the region come to enjoy!

Throughout the year, KPL provides a variety of programs and opportunities for our community. Adult activities include local history speakers, genealogy research, art workshops, book club, and craft activities. Opportunities for our youth include weekly preschool storytime, monthly homeschool hangout and STEM workshops, music and movement classes, and summer reading program. Our team works hard to ensure our books and movies are up-to-date for local children, teens, and adults to enjoy!

This Raise the Region, we hope you will consider supporting the various programs we offer for the Knoxville community. We are specifically fundraising to cover all museum windows with UV protected window coverings. It is important to maintain the quality of our artifacts for future generations to enjoy.
