Lewisburg Children's Museum

Play is a powerful part of childhood. When children have the opportunity to imagine and explore and wonder, it has a profound impact on their development. Free play enhances a child's brain development, improves cognitive and fine motor skills, and promotes emotional intelligence and understanding. 

The Lewisburg Children's Museum inspires learning, imagination, and play through interactive, enriching experiences in a safe, accessible environment to all children and their families.

Last year, the Museum drew over 31,000 visitors from Union, Snyder, Northumberland, Lycoming, Montour and beyond. Approximately, 14% of guests visit the museum through reduced admission programs which include Museums For All (EBT/SNAP recipients), Blue Star Museums (active military families), and senior discounts. Additionally, the Museum has Cultural Passes available to check out for free at 15 local libraries in the region. 

None of this would be possible without those who believe in our mission. The reality is that we need YOUR help to grow our programming and exhibits to keep offering these resources.

In addition to our many imaginative play exhibits, the Museum offers educational programming, such as music classes, art workshops, language classes, science activities, and weekly programs. The Museum occupies 9,000 square feet of exhibit and programming space on the second floor of the Green Space Center in Lewisburg, PA.
