LYCOMING ARTS CELEBRATING 65 YEARS
WILLIAMSPORT FIRST FRIDAY CELEBRATING 25 YEARS
Lycoming Arts has been an active part of Williamsport and its surrounding community since 1960. Celebrating 65 Years in 2025, we strive to bring an area rich in artistic talents to the public. Lycoming Arts now has four main "legs" of our organization:
PublicARTWORKS has been instrumental in bringing visual art, sculpture and mural art to the downtown and beyond. Pieces from the River Walk's Wood Hick to Undercurrent at the Williamsport Regional Airport. Work is ongoing for our newest endeavor, Sanctuary Park -- a pocket park on Park Avenue.
Arts in the Neighborhood (AIN) was established to answer the need to bridge the gap between downtown and our neighborhoods -- uncovered through our work with the Lycoming County Comprehensive Plan. AIN encompasses a number of initiatives; Art2GO! mobile art cart, College Town Gallery and our young student Youth Art Galleries. AIN also offers art workshops and classes. Uur Lycoming Arts Professional Gallery gives local artists a place to showcase their artwork in a solo exhibition format.
The Lycoming Arts Film Office (LAFO) is dedicated to growing the film industry in our region through entertainment industry outreach and local education. LAFO's Storytellers celebrates the art of storytelling through image, text, music and film.
