Wellsboro Community Concert Association (WCCA) originated in 1947. We're staffed entirely of unpaid volunteers. We present a season composed of six to seven outstanding concerts of varying genres per year. Our mission has remained unchanged from the concept of community concert associations which originated in the 1920s which is to:
Present high-quality concerts featuring artist of regional, national, and international reputation.
Develop artistic educational outreach programs
Promote the Arts by cooperating with similar groups in our community
Keep our ticket prices affordable
Artist fees and operating expenses continue to increase. Nonetheless, we remain committed to providing high-quality programming while keeping ticket prices extremely affordable. For our 75th Season subscribers paid only $12.50 per concert. Individual tickets are offered for only $20 to $25. Children age 12 or younger are admitted for free. We also offer student pricing for ages 13 to 18 for only $5 per concert. This is only possible because of the support of generous donors, subscribers, and sponsors. Please consider making a donation it truly does make a difference to our community. Our all volunteer board of directors is composed of your friends and neighbors. Be assured 100% of your contribution goes directly to programming and operating expenses.
