Deane Center for the Performing Arts

The Deane Center for the Performing Arts is dedicated to providing a venue, programs, and classes offering exceptional arts and entertainment to meet the diverse interests of Tioga County and the surrounding region.

The Deane Center is a performing arts center and event space located n downtown Wellsboro, Tioga County. It was founded with a $1 million gift from Harold and Ivah Deane, and their vision for a home for the arts in Tioga County, to enrich the lives of countless people in the community for many years to come. The Deane Center offers state-of-the-art performance venues for musicians, dancers, artists, and actors, as well as free community programs to promote arts and connections throughout the region.
