Sunny Days

Sunny was an in-take for Friends & Ferals in May 2024. She was living as part of a feral cat colony. There was nothing feral about Sunny though. She's sweet as can be, like obnoxiously sweet. We took Sunny in because in addition to not belonging outside, she had a major open sore on her leg that desperately needed attention. 

For months her foster, alongside our vet tried to heal Sunnys open sore on her leg. However it's been incredibly stubborn, and not responding to any treatment. Finally in early 2025, Sunny saw a specialist who recommended a surgery to attempt to close this area and this chapter of Sunnys life. She is currently recovering from surgery and we're all hopeful that this is the solution to this issue. 

Friends & Ferals is only able to go above and beyond to change the lives of cats like Sunny with financial support. We have the love and dedication to go to great lengths to change the lives of many cats for the better. We always have and always will help cats like Sunny, providing them the chance they'd never have otherwise.
